No price list. A fee built around you.
One fixed figure, built with you on the call and in writing before you commit. Want a number now? The instant estimate takes a minute.
Why there is no price list
No two businesses are the same, so why should their accountancy fees be?
A contractor with CIS subcontractors, an e-commerce brand trading in several currencies and a landlord with a portfolio need very different things. A single price list would mean some clients subsidise others.
On your first call we learn how you are structured, your transaction volumes, whether VAT, payroll or CIS applies, your personal tax position and where you want to go.
Then we build your proposal with you, line by line, so the fee covers what you need and nothing you will never use. You see what each service costs before you commit, take it away in writing and the quoted fee stands unless the work changes.
What shapes your fee
Six things decide most of it. None of them is a secret, and none of them is a sales lever.
How you are structured
Sole trader, partnership, limited company or a group. Each carries different filings and different planning.
Your transaction volumes
Fifty transactions a month is not the same job as five thousand, across several bank accounts and currencies.
VAT, payroll and CIS
Whether they apply, how often they run and how many people or subcontractors sit behind them.
Your personal tax position
Directors' returns, property income, capital gains, foreign income. The personal side is part of the picture.
Where things stand today
Clean records or a backlog to untangle. Catching up is priced once, not built into your ongoing fee.
Where you want to go
The level of advice you want, from a quarterly check-in to a fractional finance director.
The instant estimate
A few quick questions, one rounded figure, emailed straight away. No breakdown or bands. Rounded up, so the confirmed fee lands at or below it if your answers hold.
- Ongoing accounting, year-end accounts or Self Assessment
- Your name and email, phone optional
- A figure on screen and in your inbox
The exact fee
A fifteen-minute conversation about your business. We build your proposal with you, live, and you keep it in writing whether or not you go ahead.
- Every service and every fee, line by line
- Xero subscriptions, advisory and one-off reviews included where you want them
- Free, and no obligation
What to expect on the call
A conversation, not a sales pitch. You leave with a clear proposal whether or not you go ahead.
Pricing questions
Short answers here. Longer ones on a call, with your own numbers in front of us.
Why don't you publish your prices?
Because a published price list can only ever be an average, and averages are unfair. Your fee should reflect your business: its size, its complexity and the services you actually need. We build your quote from those specifics, so you are not paying for someone else's complexity.
Will I get a price before committing to anything?
Yes, on your very first call. We build your proposal live with you and you take it away in writing. No obligation and no pressure. If you want a figure before that, the instant estimate takes a minute.
How accurate is the instant estimate?
It is a rounded figure from what you tell us, and it is always rounded up. The call confirms the exact fee, which lands at or below the estimate unless your situation turns out to be materially different from your answers.
Are your fees fixed?
Yes. Most of our services are on fixed monthly or annual fees, so there are no surprise invoices. Some flexible support options are priced per day or per project, and we always confirm the basis with you up front. If your needs change, we review the fee with you first.
Can I pay monthly?
Yes. Most clients spread their fees monthly by direct debit. Annual payment is also available. We cover this on your call.
What if I only need one service?
That is fine. Some clients need the full package; others just need a Self Assessment or a one-off review. Your proposal only includes what you need.
What if my business grows or changes?
Your fees are reviewed with you as your business changes, so your package keeps pace with where you are, not where you were when you signed up.

A minute for the estimate. Fifteen for the exact fee. Either way, you know where you stand.
